Still Time is an American rock band from San Luis Obispo, California.
Still Time formed over a number of years while at the California Polytechnic State University. Dan Curcio and Chris “Haircut” Arntzen began their musical collaboration after meeting in the Sierra Madre dorms in the Fall of 2002. In 2003, Nick Bilich was introduced to Curcio through his girlfriend and Haircut discovered John Vucinich drumming on his knee in the hallway of the math building. The band was completed a year later in 2004 when Vucinich met bassist Paul “Slapmaster” Smith-Stewart playing in the university jazz band. With Smith-Stewart playing the bass, Bilich switched from bass to guitar.
They began playing a number of shows around the San Luis Obispo under the name Longview. This was soon changed to The New Longview as a tribute to Spinal Tap when they realized another band was already known as Longview. In 2005, they recorded an LP called Still Time and continued to play local gigs until their song "High Tide" began getting heavy rotation on local station KURQ and was featured in the compilation album SLO & Dysfunctional Vol. 3. As their popularity grew, they began opening for acts such as Pepper, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and Ziggy Marley.
Still Time is a 1994 photography book by Sally Mann. The book is published by Aperture and was released alongside Mann's exhibition for the photographs. The book consists of 60 four-color and duotone images of landscapes as well as abstract photography and images of Mann's children, some of which have been collected from her previous book, Immediate Family. The cover image is a photograph of Mann's 7 year old daughter Jessie, who is pictured topless with her breasts covered by nightblooming cereus. The book opens with a quote from Eric Ormsby's Childhood House, and images focus on the theme of the passing of time.
The book is not to be confused with the 1988 catalogue of the same name, also by Sally Mann.
In 2010 a man was convicted of level 1 child pornography for owning four books, including Still Time as well as The Age of Innocence by David Hamilton, which he purchased from a bookstore in Walthamstow, London.
His conviction was overturned on appeal in 2011, with the judge calling his conviction "very unfair" and criticising the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for prosecuting him. The judge noted that Still Time was available from various bookshops and had also been on sale at an art gallery, but the CPS took no action against the gallery or the bookstores.
Elms are deciduous and semi-deciduous trees comprising the genus Ulmus in the plant family Ulmaceae. The genus first appeared in the Miocene geological period about 20 million years ago, originating in what is now central Asia. These trees flourished and spread over most of the Northern Hemisphere, inhabiting the temperate and tropical-montane regions of North America and Eurasia, presently ranging southward across the Equator into Indonesia.
Elms are components of many kinds of natural forests. Moreover, during the 19th and early 20th centuries many species and cultivars were also planted as ornamental street, garden, and park trees in Europe, North America, and parts of the Southern Hemisphere, notably Australasia. Some individual elms reached great size and age. However, in recent decades, most mature elms of European or North American origin have died from Dutch elm disease, caused by a microfungus dispersed by bark beetles. In response, disease-resistant cultivars have been developed, capable of restoring the elm to forestry and landscaping.

Elm is a functional programming language for declaratively creating web browser-based graphical user interfaces. Elm uses the functional reactive programming style and purely functional graphical layout to build user interface without any destructive updates.
Elm was designed by Evan Czaplicki as his thesis in 2012. The first release of Elm came with many examples and an online editor that made it easy to try out in a web browser. Evan Czaplicki joined Prezi in 2013 to work on Elm, and in 2016 moved to NoRedInk as an Open Source Engineer, also starting the Elm Software Foundation.
The initial implementation of the Elm compiler targets HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The set of core tools has continued to expand, now including a REPL,package manager, time-traveling debugger, and installers for Mac and Windows. Elm also has an ecosystem of community created libraries.
Elm has a small but expressive set of language constructs, including if-expressions, let-expressions, case-expressions, anonymous functions, and list interpolation. From there the key features include signals, immutability, static types, and interoperability with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
